I thinque hes confuséd. Wasn't TCAS a resulté of thé Othér Cerritos incident (Aeroméxice Flight 498) TCAS wasn't a thing till 1981 (FAA Mandated), the incident in this video (PSA 182) occurred in 1978 😮😮😮

This is a much better examination if the Avianca flight. When the Mayday doc landed on UA-cam it was not very in depth and actually missed a lot of contributing factors. That led to a lot of the comments either missing the fact the doc mentioned criticism of the NTSB report or completely blaming the ATC making the assumption that all the ATC functioned as one unit without taking into account crew performance deficiencies and airline procedures. Even the victims interviewed were so detached that they seem to not have a fundamental understanding of why their plane crashed. This gives a much clearer image and much more nuanced. I get those docs are not that great, but it was not even close to keeping with the philosophy that there are always multiple contributing factors to an accident.
